Gas pipes

Pressure pipes made of polyethylene are used for underground pipelines transporting natural gas, fuels,
as feedstock and fuel for industria,l and communal and household use.

The use of polyethylene pipes for gas pipelines has advantages:

- Longer life than metal (warranty period of 50 years);

- Do not require cathodic protection, and therefore almost maintenance-free;

- Not afraid of contact with water and aggressive media;

- Polyethylene pipes are 2-4 times lighter than steel;

- Intervals of 12 meters do not require the installation of lifting devices;

- Butt welding of polyethylene pipes are much cheaper, easier and less time-consuming;

- Plastic joint requires no additional consumables (isolation of the electrodes);

- Toxicological and bacteriological polyethylene pipes for gas pipelines are safe;

- Polyethylene pipes for gas pipelines are not classified as dangerous goods.
